The people who come to Spokane....

It occurred to me tonight that Craig and I moved away from home a year ago...about 5 hours away from home...but yet we have still seen so many familiar faces pop in and out of Spokane and the surrounding area.  Spokane, WA?  Who goes to Spokane?  Well a lot of people, clearly!  All them western folk who want a change of scenario travel east, or it might be because our city hosts some of the nation's largest events (i.e. bloomsday & hoopfest).  I think I get to visit with more people here than I did back in Federal Way.  God is so good -- He knows I needs familiarity in my life or I just might go a little crazy.  For someone who is not good with change, in fact, a BIG baby when it comes to change, God has provided and has only isolated us within reason.  Every now and then I'll get a phone call with someone on the other end who says, "Hey!  I'm in Spokane (or will be driving through).  Can we meet up?"  And then I hear from God, "Megs, stop complaining.  I am bringing you a friend at least once a month...what more do you want?  ...any more friends and you would think you hadn't left Federal Way and we don't want that now, do we?."
