Crohn's could keep her down -- her loss of 22 inches of her intestines should slow her down -- but she doesn't believe that for a second! She trained by biking religiously around Federal Way, running with our pooch Mya, and jumping in Lake Washington for a swim once or twice with her best friend Marissa. It was neat to hear about her journey over the phone and then get to run with her while visiting home just a week before her race! My sister is the coolest!
